Shibori Dyed Indigo Tea Towel

Hand dyed in the traditional shibori method with natural vegetable based indigo, and edge lined with a contrast stitch. Each bare cloth is folded and bound, then bathed in a dye vat. The folds protect parts of the cloth from the ocean of color, forming unique patterns in its fibers. With many variables at work - the strength of your color, the length in the vat, the tightness of your folds - the piece revealed when dye is rinsed clean is often unexpected, and always unique.

CARE & USE
Spot clean and machine wash cold. Tumble dry low.
